This isn't the best picture of the bridge, but it was my chance to take it when I wasn't driving the car. We were on our way the the Tampa Bay Rays game in St Pete. If it was clearer you would be able to see the dome where they play. Just kind of a hazy day in the bay!
This was added to: http://waterywednesday.blogspot.com check out the other water photos.
It just might cool you off!
The haze is nice, actually. It adds a hint of mystery. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteSydney - City and Suburbs
That bridge looks scary high!! And long.
ReplyDeleteBut what a great idea to keep part of the old one for a pier.
The bridge looks incredibly high! Love the yellow color on top of the bridge.

I used to live in Tampa! Whenever we'd pass over Skyway, my Mom would talk about when the freighter hit the bridge and people were driving off the edge becuase it was so foggy out. It's always given me the creeps, lol.
ReplyDeletealoha,
ReplyDeletewhat a gorgeous bridge, i love all your posts on living in sarasota, one of the places in florida i would love to visit some day :)
I'm usually not a wuss, but I think I might be clenching until I made it to the other side (lol). Seriously though, I love the composition of your photos (esp the last one).
ReplyDeleteI love going over that bridge! Hope you had a great time at the game! Still trying to figure out when we can have our blogger get together, I got called in to do extra duty days at work ::sigh::
ReplyDeleteLyndsey, OH!!! I get you! I am also not a fan of high ceilings! Storage is a MUST. If we could put the little home on a basement . That would be enough for me!I agree , how much entertaining do you really do? We also have a huge pole barn for storage as well. I wish we were just building his little house with no plans for more. But V wants it bigger so...
ReplyDeleteI will be delighted to have my little tiny home til next year.
Have a pretty day~

Every time I drove across the Skyway I think of the stories I've read about the freighter hitting the old bridge -- unbelievable! Wonderful perspectives. Hope you had fun at the Rays game. I need to get up there for one yet this summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! The Rays won in extra innings!
ReplyDeleteI think about the freighter hitting the old bridge every time too, especially with part of the old bridge still there. Then I'm glad the bridge is so high!
